SUITABLE FOR MANAGING COMPLEX SCENARIOS
We have used the Ipè data governance ecosystem to create a powerful tool useful for carry out the calculation of the carbon footprint in complex scenarios. The aim of Ipè Carbon Footprint is to allow one efficient reporting of emissions also for structured companies located in several countries and whose data related to emissions is shared among, potentially, hundreds of different data owners.
GRANULAR ASSIGNMENT OF TASKS
Thanks to Ipe's system of modules and privileges, it is possible to assign granular objectives to the data owner, allowing them, for example, to report only the refrigerant gas emissions of some companies part of a group. The activity carried out by the data owners is monitored and traced by the platform, and the emissions come always calculated in real time on the basis of the raw data entered.
DATA ANALYSIS
Emissions are aggregated on several levels, so it is always possible to keep track of the aggregate of emissions at any level of a complex sociogram, therefore if a company has data related to emissions at plant level, these are then automatically aggregated at plant level agency. At the in the same way, the data is then aggregated at group level, if data is reported for multiple companies.
PROJECTIONS
Data collection on Ipè takes place on an annual basis. It is therefore possible to track the evolution of emissions for each company part of a corporate group year by year, by carrying out time benchmarks e projections.
FUNCTIONALITY
Ipè is accessible via the web without the need to install software and can be consulted by all devices (including smartphones and tablets). The platform allows multi-user access with profiling of the different groups and modules according to specific business needs
User and permission management
Reserved access with personal credentials and accounts with configurable privileges for each usergroup, for each application module. It is therefore possible to manage in a granular way access and the functionality exposed to specific categories of users.
Customization of KPIs
The KPIs to be monitored can be customized from pre-existing databases or from specifics need of the company, with specific assignment for each organizational and/or geographical unit of the company.
Trend monitoring
Data collection activities are scheduled and assigned to specific "data owners" who they can proceed with the upload of the data attributed to them. The progress of the activities is measured and checked into real time with schedule and "alerting" messages.
GRI compliant
Ipè is based on the universal and sector GRI Standards, maintaining their ease and modularity of the application. It also supports parallel application and tiling of others Standard and creation of customized KPIs.
Timetable
The schedule allows you to manage activities by sending weekly report automated and alerts specific to personnel involved at various levels in the management of duties with evidence of related deadlines. The Module integrates a verification and validation system to always keep under check the completion of scheduled activities.
Reporting
The KPIs are automatically aggregated and displayed through panels interactive control that allow you to evaluate trends over time and compare them between the various structures corporate.
Personalization
The individual modules can be modified and customized on request based on specificities of the Corporate Sustainability objectives and the activities of interest to the Client. A title as an example, new panels for document archiving can be implemented, of numerical or mixed data, Interactive Graphs, Alerts via email or sms, multi-step validation,connection with web APIs, IoT tools, periodic reports via email or sms, etc...
